Prep for Renaissance the Runway

In just over a week, men and women of all ages will hit the runway to raise money for youth on the Gulf Coast.
Tonight, participants put on their heels and practiced their best cat walk, preparing for “Renaissance the Runway,” a Bacot-McCarty Foundation fundraiser that aims to help five local non-profits like Lynn Meadows Discovery Center, Rock U 2, CASA of Jackson and Harrison counties, Gulf Coast Symphony Youth Orchestra and the Dream Program.
One father and daughter who are walking the runway on September 29th tells News 25 it is practice for one big day. Michael Sunderman said, “I’ll be walking Kelsey down the aisle in about 30 something days. October 22nd at the White House so this is great practice for us to learn how to walk in a straight line without falling apart hopefully.”
“Renaissance the Runway” is set for September 29th at the IP Casino. It will showcase all local boutiques and tickets are still available. For more information, look up the Bacot-McCarty Foundation on Facebook.
