PRCC soccer honoring Cayce Seal Friday

Less than three months after the tragic passing of Cayce Seal, Pearl River Community College is paying homage to its former captain.

On Friday night, the Wildcats will honor the life and legacy of their former soccer standout in between the women’s and men’s games against Meridian.

Seal was the captain at PRCC as both a freshman and sophomore from 2011 to 2012.

He passed away in June while working as a lineman in New Orleans at the age of just 28.

Pearl River has created the Cayce Seal Memorial Scholarship Fund and all proceeds from Friday’s games will be donated on its behalf.

The men’s game kicks off at 7 p.m. from the football facility at Dobie Holden Stadium.
