PRCC receives postseason ban

At the JUCO level, the Pearl River Community College football program has been hit with a one-year post-season ban by the MACJC.
According to the Sun Herald, the Wildcats exceeded the 55 player scholarship limit by about five players on National Signing Day. Former Head Coach David Saunders was responsible for over-signing the recruits and was replaced by current head man Ted Egger back in May.
That was reportedly the last straw in making the coaching change which has the Cats off to a 2-1 start in district play.
