Potential Competition for the Coast’s Gaming Industry

Our coastal casino market may be facing even more competition in the near future now that Alabama and Florida are considering adding gaming.
State leaders are not overly concerned about the potential new rivals saying that while competition is a threat it can also be our greatest asset. We’ve had gaming for over 20 years and leaders say that experience matters.
Our coastal market not only offers gamers slot machines, but a tourism destination as well.
State Senator Tindell says next session lawmakers will still look at ways to expand gaming in the Magnolia State and make sure it’s protected.
