MSDH reports 1,520 COVID-19 cases and 58 deaths statewide

Today, MSDH is reporting an additional 1,520 cases of COVID-19 in Mississippi and 58 deaths. Nineteen deaths occurred between September 1st and September 26th and 39 deaths occurred between August 21st and September 22nd, identified from death certificate reports. Large contraband bust at South Mississippi Correctional Facility

Authorities have executed a massive contraband bust at the South Mississippi Correctional Facility in Leakesville. MSDH reports 1,773 COVID-19 cases and 55 deaths for the three-day period

The Mississippi State Department of Health is reporting 1,773 cases of COVID-19 and 55 new deaths for the three-day period running from September 24th to September 26th.
