Man found in Back Bay in Ocean Springs identified

A body that was found last week in the Back Bay near Ocean Springs has been identified. Jackson County Coroner Bruce Lynd Jr. says the man is 38-year-old Kevin Hodges of Mobile. Hodges was found near the CSX Railroad tracks on August 16th. The coroner used his fingerprints to identify Hodges. An autopsy is pending and Lynd says no foul…

Gulf Islands Economic Impact Report: Visitors added $610M to state

Good news from the National Park Service on the economic impact of visitors to the Gulf Islands National Seashore. According to the park service, there were 5.7 million visitors for the barrier islands in Florida and Mississippi.
