Ship becomes artificial reef in Mississippi Sound

A new artificial reef is now at the bottom of the Mississippi Sound. The Captain Ben III Vessel was sunk on February 27th in waters 17 miles south of Pascagoula and at a depth of 60 feet. Mississippi Power worked hard to restore electricity to those in need following yesterday’s severe weather. Afterwards, crews helped our neighbors in Alabama.
