Possession of cocaine guilty plea

A Texas man pled guilty to possessing three kilograms of cocaine.

The investigation began on November 28th, 2016 when the Mississippi Highway Patrol conducted a traffic stop on I-10 in Harrison County.

Thirty-three year-old Eduardo Nino’s car was stopped due to careless driving. He told the officer he was tired and looking for a place to pull over. Nino allowed officers to search the car and found three large packages of cocaine wrapped in black tape hidden under the seat.

He is sentenced to 20 years in prison.
