Positive COVID cases in Jackson County School District down 37 percent
The Jackson County School District is reporting that positive cases in students are down nearly 37 percent.
JCSD Superintendent John Strycker gave an update on the current cases in the school district, announcing that from August to September student positive COVID-19 case numbers are down 37 percent.
Today there were zero student cases of COVID-19 reported, district-wide, compared to August with 92 cases and 58 cases in September.
Strycker says the school district will continue to send those who test positive for COVID-19 home while pressing forward for all other students who are healthy all while closely monitoring students and staff as well as practicing all COVID safety precautions.
