Port Offering Job Preparedness Workshop

The Port of Gulfport wants to make sure you’re prepared for any future job opportunities they may provide.
On Wednesday, the Port will be hosting a job awareness and preparedness workshop in D’Iberville. From 3 until 5 at the Jerry Lawrence Memorial Library, Port representatives will cover a variety of topics including the types of future jobs that could be available and their requirements.
A HUD grant for post-Katrina restoration says they must provide over a thousand jobs and they want to make sure you’re ready to apply for them.
