Police Searching For Shooting Suspect

Pascagoula Police are looking for the suspect from a shooting that left two people injured this morning after shots were fired, Pascagoula authorities rushed to the intersection of Ingalls Avenue and Heidenhei Drive in Pascagoula at eleven am. Authorities say two people are injured and one is in the hospital after being shot. Pascagoula police say the suspect fled the scene in a car that was reported stolen. An officer tells News 25 police are working to step up law enforcement in the area where the shooting happened.
Captain Shannon Massey tells News 25, “We’ve increased patrols in the area, to ensure their safety during this time of need for them. We also want to let the public know we’re on top of it. We brought in extra people to work this case to ensure the safety of the community.”
Pascagoula police need your help in finding a blue 2009 Nissan Maxima with a specialty tag from Alabama. They say the suspect drove off in this car, turning onto industrial road. If you have any information please call the Pascagoula Police Department at 228-762-2211.
