Plans released for Margaritaville Resort Biloxi
Margaritaville is coming back to the gulf coast, but in a whole new way.
Margaritaville Resort Biloxi is the new coastal resort and family entertainment center being built where Casino Magic used to stand.
Coast businessman and developer Cono Caranna has released full plans for what he says will be an all-new escape for coast residents and tourists. The 373 room, 22 story resort will feature a 55,000 square foot entertainment complex. While it’ll be named Margaritaville, there will be no casino, but will offer something for the whole family. The resort’s Indoor Family Entertainment Center will feature a rock climbing wall, ropes course and a zip-line roller coaster among other attractions. Outside will feature a 450 foot lazy river, two water slides and a splash pad with a few other pool attractions. Along with these attractions there will be ice cream shops, bars and restaurants for visitors to try. The resort is set to open late this spring.
If you’re interested in working for Margaritaville Resort Biloxi, there will be job fairs held at the Biloxi Civic Center May 1-3. On Sunday, the fair will be from 11 AM-5 PM. On Monday and Tuesday, the fair will be 8 AM-3:30 pm. In all, the resort says they’ll have 600 open positions to fill.
