Planned Challenge on Ballot Change Order

Mississippi’s top elections official Secretary of State Delbert Hosemann says he will ask the U.S. Supreme Court to overturn a state court order telling him to add another candidate to the March 8th Democratic presidential primary ballot.
On Thursday, the Mississippi Supreme Court ordered Hosemann to list Chicago businessman Willie Wilson as a Democratic candidate, overturning the state party’s rejection of Wilson’s petition to run.
Hosemann argues not only is redoing ballots expensive but it would be unfair to military and overseas voters who have already cast their absentee ballots.
