Planet Fitness offers free summer workouts for teens

Planet Fitness gyms nationwide have a good opportunity for high schoolers.

Planet Fitness invites high school students from the ages of 14 through 19 to work out for free at any of their locations.

The program runs from now through August 31.

The high school summer pass offers a way for students to stay active during the summer months in a fun, safe, and judgement free environment.

The purpose of this program is not only to encourage physical strength among teenagers, but to also receive the mental health benefits of working out.

“A lot of times kids don’t really have an outlet during the summer to participate in extra curricular activities,” said Cynthia Gieseler, the Biloxi club manager. “So this gives them an opportunity to be physically active and to help with their mental health and their physical well being which is super important for our teenagers.”
