Picayune Police interrupt dinner for drug arrests
Picayune Police officers taking a dinner break while on duty Sunday evening when dinner was interrupted by work.
Officers with the Neighborhood Enhancement Team were eating when they were told someone had been in the restaurant’s restroom for an unusually long period of time.
Officers went to check on the person, Thomas Bowers, who was found with paraphernalia and methamphetamine. The meth was in a bag that belonged to Anna Dillard, according to the report.
Dillard, a restaurant employee, is also Bowers’ girlfriend. Dillard also was found to be in possession of paraphernalia.
Bowers and Dillard each were charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute and possession of paraphernalia.
