Peter Anderson Festival Wrap Up

The wind and the rain didn’t stop locals from coming out to the 37th annual Peter Anderson Festival this past weekend.
Some businesses said they even saw more people walk through their doors because of the rain. The Walter Anderson Museum of Art was one of these businesses and they said profits were equal to that of last years. They also saw a good amount of people come through their art exhibit while trying to get away from the storms.
Walter Anderson Museum of Art Executive Director Rosemary Rosa said, “We did something different. We put a booth inside the festival to draw people to the museum. That was nice because people got to see some of our items and then they got intrigued with Walter Anderson and so they came down and visited the museum. Our admission sales were actually quite well.”
The festival will take place again next year and hopefully sunny skies are in the forecast.
