Pearl River County woman sentenced for drunk-driving crash that killed four people
A Pearl River County woman has been sentenced to years in prison for a drunk-driving crash that killed four people nearly four years ago.
As our media partner the Sun Herald reports, 42-year-old Tara Leigh Cox was sentenced Monday after pleading guilty Friday to four counts of felony driving under the influence.
Judge Claiborne McDonald sentenced Cox to serve 60 years with 30 years suspended.
Four people died and three were injured in the head-on crash that happened in the overnight hours of July 21st, 2018 on Highway 53 in Pearl River County.
