Pascagoula PD captures the Goula Grinch

The Goula Grinch’s days of wreaking havoc in the city have finally been outnumbered.

A little after 3 p.m. today, Pascagoula PD’s marine division spotted the foul one driving a stolen skiff along the Pascagoula River.

Officers attempted to stop him, but resulting in a pursuit until they were able to capture the Goula Grinch on Rabbit Island, taking him into custody.

Capturing the Goula Grinch has been an ongoing battle for the Pascagoula PD yet citizens can learn holiday safety tips from each of their encounters.

The Goula Grinch has since been sentenced to 60 years suspended and ordered to serve 300 hours of community service to include working alongside our men and women in uniform and the Pascagoula community.
