Pascagoula Baseball’s Griffin Wells named MaxPreps Freshman All-American

Pascagoula’s Griffin Wells has been named a high school freshman All-American.

MaxPreps has Wells listed at the infield spot, where he hit .392 with 20 RBIs and 14 runs scored, but down the stretch he really came alive on the mound for the Panthers with a 2.74 ERA and 44 strikeouts across 38-and-a-third innings en route to their 5A South State championship.

Wells is just one of two players from Mississippi on the freshman, sophomore, or junior teams.
