Papa John’s Fundraiser at Pass Road Location

So far, so good, the turnout at a Biloxi Papa John’s fundraiser has been going strong all day long, according to workers at the Pass Road store.
Twenty percent of today’s sales at the pizza store will go to help 28-year-old Bethanie Jones with her mounting medical costs. As we reported back in June, Jones was seriously injured in a two vehicle crash on the Popp’s Ferry Bridge. Her recovery has been slow, as she heals from numerous broken bones, a badly crushed ankle and several surgeries. She’s surrounded by family and friends, all grateful for the outpouring of community support.
Papa John’s Coastal Marketing Director Jourdan Hartshorn said, “I just got off the phone with her uncles. They’re all happy that we’ve come together to do this, they don’t even care how much we raise, just that we got the name out and shared her story.”
If you don’t want to order pizza, you can still donate to help pay for Bethanie’s medical expenses in a separate box at the counter at the Papa John’s located near Keesler Air Force Base. The fundraiser wraps up at 11 tonight.
