Pack 23 Cub Scouts Awards Ceremony

Cub Scout Pack 23 held their first award ceremony as a pack tonight in Gulfport.

These Cub Scouts were awarded with their pack badges and a certificate for learning the basics of the program. There are 15 boys participating in the first cub pack in their community of west Gulfport.

The Cub Scouts get the opportunity to learn important values as well as having fun with outdoor activities.

Pack Coordinator Terrance Collins tells News 25 it’s all about letting the boys be role models by exemplifying honor, bravery, and reverence. “I want to give these boys a chance to learn and there is no better place or organization than Boy Scouts of America because of their values.”

If you know a little boy looking for an adventure with the Cub Scouts they hold their meetings at St. Mark United Methodist Church in Gulfport.
