Overnight House Fire in Biloxi

Two people are safe after their home caught on fire last night in east Biloxi. A smoke alarm alerted the homeowners a few minutes before midnight.
Biloxi firefighters rushed to the scene on Fountain Lane off Esters Boulevard, but the house suffered heat and smoke damage.
One bedroom was destroyed where officials believe the fire began, but the cause is still under investigation.
