Opposing goalies throw down during Sea Wolves game over the weekend

The past weekend, Mississippi Sea Wolves fans saw a rare anomaly on ice:  opposing goalies fighting!

A little over halfway through the first period, a fight broke out between the teams in Columbus, Georgia.

After deciding he wanted to get in on the action, Sea Wolves Goalie Joe Sheppard made his way to the center of the ice where he dropped the gloves and threw hands with Columbus River Dragons’ Goalie Christian Pavlas.

While the fight didn’t last long, the audience was able to witness this moment that rarely happens during professional hockey games.
