Open Position on Recreation Commission in Pascagoula

If you are a Pascagoula resident and have a passion for the city’s park and recreation, then the city has the perfect position for you.
A spot has opened up on the City of Pascagoula’s recreation commission. The city is looking for the right person for the job. The 11 member commission serves as an advisory board for Pascagoula parks, facilities and programs.
Recreation commission members meet the first Wednesday of every month at the Pascagoula Recreation Center. Pascagoula Director of Parks and Recreation Darcie Crew said, “They review our activities that we have, our programs that we have going on as well as our facilities. A lot of what they do currently is make recommendations on what the future of recreation looks like in Pascagoula.”
The position is on a volunteer basis. If interested, drop off your resume, cover letter and a letter of why you’re interested in the position at the parks and rec office by June 14th.
