Open house for newly renovated City Centre in Pascagoula
An exciting new development is set to transform the downtown Pascagoula area. The newly renovated City Centre welcomed the public for an open house.
The City Centre is a newly renovated five-story mixed-use building. Apartments occupy the second, third, and fourth floor. Commercial space occupies the ground floor.
This development represents a significant step forward in the city’s ongoing revitalization efforts, attracting new residents and fostering economic growth. Pascagoula resident Heather Kerutis said, “My first job was in this building when I was 14. I worked for my uncle’s insurance company here. I’ve seen it go into disrepair. I moved away for 30 years and came back just a year-and-a-half ago and it’s been so exciting to see all the progress.”
Pascagoula resident Jimmy Fondren said, “We need things for young people to do here. It’s a great place to live. It’s a great place to work. It’s a great place to play, too. We got a river and now we got restaurants and now we have this city center. I think it’ll add a lot.”
The fifth floor of the building will be soon be home to a rooftop bar and penthouse which is set to open its doors in August.
