Online Marketing Tourism Workshop Biloxi

When it comes to online marketing, content is key.

That was one of the themes as dozens of marketing officials from coast hospitality businesses filed into the coast coliseum for a workshop on online marketing.
“Visit Mississippi Gulf Coast” hosted the event with the hopes of creating one unified message when it comes to promoting South Mississippi.
“Sense of Place, CEO Jim Brody is wants the coast to use its online power to help potential visitors visualize themselves enjoying our coast.

“We can actually visualize yourself in a place, in a hotel, in a casino, on a beach, ziplining, paragliding, Whatever it is we’re going to be doing we’re going to visualize it by looking online. If we see other people having a good time then we feel more like we want to come and do that. It’s more inspiring and motivation than the traditional come here because there’s the tagline.”

Visit Mississippi Gulf Coast reported a rise in visitors over the past two years, they hope workshops like this will continue that growth.
