Online Grocery Shopping at Wal-Mart
Three Wal-Mart locations on the Coast are switching up the typical grocery store trip with a digital twist.
Starting today, you can order your groceries online, pull in to a pick up parking spot and have personal shoppers load your car with everything on your list.
Designated time slots are available on the website so there is no back up with online orders.
Wal-Mart officials tell News 25 this is the perfect program for busy moms or dads and first responders with busy schedules.
Naomi Sessum was the first pickup customer. She said, “It’s going to be awesome. I can just pull up, call the number, get my groceries delivered right to me and head straight home and not have to worry about taking them out. In the past, it’s pretty hectic because you’re having to go in and they get hungry and you got to feed them and you got to go to the bathroom with them and they just get really fussy. You’re constantly having to stop and it’s just hectic.”
The locations offering online pick up are the Wal-Mart Supercenters in Ocean Springs off Hwy 90 and D’Iberville off Sangani Boulevard and the neighborhood market in Gulfport off Highway 49.
