One Year Anniversary Of Mardi Gras Parade Pass Christian

One year ago today two bystanders were killed and four others were wounded during the annual Mardi Gras Parade in Pass Christian.
The shooting took place on Davis Avenue after the St. Paul Carnival Association’s Mardi Gras Parade during Sunday afternoon in 2016.
The four men who await trial were each indicted on two counts of second degree murder and three counts of aggravated assault.
Because of last year’s events, big changes are taking place. This year’s parade will begin 30 minutes earlier at 11:30. This means streets on the parade route will close at 10 a.m.
Also, there will be no street parking along highway 90 or any streets on the parade route.
You can visit the parade’s website visit for full information as well a list of parade day parking.
