One World Trade Center joins the “Light it Blue” campaign
Landmarks across the U.S. were blue Thursday night.
Buildings like the One World Trade Center in New York switched the colors of their lights for the evening.
The display was a part of the ‘Light it Blue’ campaign honoring essential workers on the front lines in the Coronavirus pandemic.
It was a show of support not just for those working tirelessly in hospitals, but also grocery stores and other businesses.
More than 100 U.S. landmarks and electronic signs took part in the campaign.
