One person hospitalized after late night fire in Jackson County

JACKSON COUNTY, Miss. (WXXV)- One person was taken to the hospital after an overnight mobile home fire in the Helena community.

Jackson County fire officials say it happened just after midnight off Saracennia ROAD.

After a swift attack, personnel was able to get the fire quickly extinguished. The resident of the home was taken for evaluation at the hospital.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation at this time.
