Chris Vignes with the City of Gulfport Public Affairs said, “It’s heartbreaking and we know what they’re going through and it’s going to get better. We’re suggesting everybody to bring these supplies out if they can. If you can’t, that’s okay, but if you can help let’s help and what we’ll do is collect items from 9 to 7 today and starting tomorrow at 8 a.m. until we get this filled and we feel good. We’re here to help and anything we can do we’re here for them.”
Additional collection sites include Compton and Sons Appliance in Gulfport, Borguezan Granite in Pass Christian, and J. Carter and Co. Real Estate in downtown Gulfport.
