Olive Garden gives back to first responders

Since 2002, Olive Garden has served more than 12,000 meals to first responders on Labor Day. This year is no different in D’Iberville.

What better way to say thank you to those who serve us every day than with a hot, free, and delicious lunch.

Employees at Olive Garden in D’Iberville packed lunches and prepared enough food to serve the D’Iberville police and fire departments today.

The first responders can create their own pasta with plenty of options. The meal included Olive Garden’s signature salad and breadsticks. Olive Garden General Manager April Roberts said, “We want to give back to our community that we serve. So, we want to make sure those who are working today when everybody else has the day off, we want to make sure that we take care of those. Over 800 Olive Garden restaurants will deliver to first responders, emergency rooms, fire departments, all over the country today.”
