Ohr-O’Keefe Pit Stop

Classic cars, a cookout, and free museum admission went on today at the George Ohr-O’Keefe Museum in Biloxi.
It’s the museum’s first ever Cruisin’ the Coast George Ohr Pit Stop Event. The museum invited all cruisers to bring their rides, lawn chairs, and blankets to join them for a front row seat to Biloxi’s vintage car parade. Cruisers enjoyed free hamburgers and hot dogs.
Biloxi Chief Administrative Officer Mike Leonard tells News 25 the pit stop was a great way for people to explore Biloxi and the museum. “Pit Stop was a good idea. We’re thinking about cooking shows. There are all sorts of ideas to bring people to the museum and see what else is here. It’s a lot more than just pottery.”
The event ended at seven. There was everything from arts and crafts and face painting to a car art exhibit.
