Officials ask drivers to use extreme caution, continue to avoid flooded roads

While much of the water has receded, officials are urging drivers to still use extreme caution and avoid flooded roads, respect barricades, and yield to emergency crews.

Here is a list of roads still impacted by Thursday’s severe weather:

Hancock County:

  • HWY 603 from Texas Flat Road to Kiln Delisle Road
  • Texas Flat Road at 603

George County:

  • HWY 198 West near HWY 98
  • MS 26 at MS 57.
  • MS 57 at Jim Jam Rd.

Harrison County:

  • Bells Ferry Road
  • E Wortham and Scarborough
  • Hwy 49 at Grand Way (W Wortham)
  • Menge Ave at Cuevas Delisle
  • Menge Ave at Freddie Frank
  • Old Hwy 49 at W Wortham
  • Shaw Road at the Bridge
  • W Wortham at both sides of Cheerzone
  • Three Rivers at Hwy 605
  • Pete Hickman Road
  • Blackwell Farm Road
  • Certain areas of Palmer Creek neighborhood
  • Cable Bridge Road
  • Old Hwy 49 at Fish Hatchery
  • 28th Street between Bosarge and Klondyke
