Ocean Springs Still Needs Volunteers for Peter Anderson Festival

Ocean Springs’ annual Peter Anderson Festival is just over a week away. The festival takes over all of downtown Ocean Springs, and to be successful, they need your help.

There will be more than 400 artists, crafters, and food vendors filing the downtown streets with a variety of artwork. Ocean Springs anticipates more than 120,000 people will attend the event, and that’s why they need volunteers.

Cynthia Sutton of the Chamber of Commerce says, “Help us out, from being a greeter at the information booths, to help us provide information about vendor booths, to even actually helping the vendors set up, tear down, help us with our hospitality, ‘cause we are known for that in Mississippi, so we definitely need a lot of cheery people that will help us in several different areas throughout the whole entire footprint of the festival.”

From pottery, painting, jewelry, and sculptures, to woodwork and metalwork, there is something for everyone at the Peter Anderson festival, taking place November 1st & 2nd.
