Ocean Springs man arrested for burglary of an occupied dwelling in Biloxi

A man was arrested for burglary yesterday at a Biloxi residence located in the 1300 block of Irish Hall Drive.

The Biloxi Police Department arrested 30-year-old Levingston Moore of Ocean Springs for burglary of an occupied dwelling.

The arrest stemmed from an investigation where Moore allegedly first attempted to kick in the victim’s front door and after failing to gain entry he crawled in through the back window.

Once Moore was able to enter the victim’s residence through the window, he fought with the homeowner and his roommate until the police arrived on scene and arrested Moore without incident.

Moore was transported to the Harrison County Jail where he is being held on a $100,000 bond.
