Ocean Springs Fireworks Celebration

Tonight, the City of Ocean Springs got a head start on Fourth of July celebrations.
People of all ages covered front beach for the annual firework show. Some chose to watch the show from the shore while others were fortunate enough to watch it from the comfort of their own homes.
The 15 minute colorful presentation is a holiday tradition for hundreds. Ocean Springs resident Andrew Hanlin said, “All my people are here. My family, my friends, it’s a close community. Everyone knows each other. It’s just a good time. Come out here, spend the day out here. Day drink a little bit with your friends. You could stay for later in the night. You can see all the fireworks.”
Residents tell News 25 the pre-holiday firework show allows them to explore other activities on the Fourth of July.
