Ocean Springs Bank Robbery Suspect Arrested

The woman accused of robbing an Ocean Springs bank on Highway 90 has been arrested.
Twenty-eight year-old Brittnie Farmer was taken into custody during a traffic stop after police recognized the car she was seen leaving the bank in.
Police say anonymous tips from the public helped lead to Farmer’s arrest.
According to authorities, she entered the bank Wednesday afternoon with butcher knives and demanded money from a bank teller. After the teller handed over the money, the suspect reportedly fell down while running to her car, causing the red dye pack in the bag of money to explode.
Farmer is now behind bars charged with armed robbery. She is awaiting her initial appearance in court.
