Ocean Springs alum Malcolm Magee transferring to Alcorn State

One of the best to ever come through the Ocean Springs football program is about to get a lot closer to home.

Former two-star recruit Malcom Magee Jr. is transferring to Alcorn State after spending the last two years at Colorado State.

A class of 2018 standout, Magee redshirted his freshman year and only appeared in seven games total, logging just one pass defended.

He moved from safety to running back this past season and will still have three years of eligibility remaining in Lorman starting this fall.

Magee tells News 25 “It feels good to be coming back to my state. I transferred schools for different reasons, but it allows my family to see me play. I’m very excited, but also determined to do one thing which is win games.”

He can hit the field as soon as this fall.
