Northrop Grumman Celebrates Ten Years in Moss Point

Today, Governor Phil Bryant, civic leaders, employees and special guests joined Northrop Grumman Corporation in celebrating ten years of manufacturing excellence at Moss Point’s unmanned systems center.
Construction on the 101,000 square foot facility began in 2005. Since completion in 2006, Moss Point has been an important manufacturing center for Northrop Grumman where Mississippians have manufactured the company’s rotary and fixed wing autonomous systems that support the U.S. and its global allies. “A decade here in Moss Point, Mississippi in Jackson County, manufacturing the most advanced UAV’s, unmanned aerial vehicles and unmanned aerial systems in the world with Northrop Grumman. We’ve signed a new eight year commitment, a new eight year contract for this building. Work will go on for at least the next eight years and we hope beyond,” said Governor Bryant.
Northrop Grumman continues to work with a local community college to train the next generations of workers in Mississippi.
