North Woolmarket Elementary students treated to fine dining experience

Today a group of local elementary school students ditched their brown paper lunch bags for something a little bit more upscale…
Ten students at North Woolmarket Elementary School had a fancy, four course meal during their lunch today. The students who attended this lunch won a drawing for having perfect attendance at lunch. Along with being a delicious treat, the lunch gave students a chance to practice proper table etiquette.
Mary Robinson says, “So far I think it has been wonderful, they seem to be loving it.
And it’s getting the attention of the children that are walking in that is not up here on this stage they are taking a look and thinking hey maybe next time we will have to see if we can try a little bit harder.”
More schools in the Harrison County School District will soon be participating in the lunchtime event.
