Nomatter Gava-Hudson Preliminary Hearing

A judge denies bond reduction for the Biloxi woman accused of stabbing her three-year-old son in Jones Park.
Twenty-six year-old Nomatter Gava-Hudson was arrested on October 6th and held at the Harrison County Jail on a $1 million bond. Harrison County Prosecutor Herman Cox argued the $1 million bond is appropriate due to Hudson’s violent tendencies.
Today’s court hearing revealed Gava-Hudson pulled a knife on her husband in a parked car at Jones Park, moments before allegedly grabbing her son and stabbing him three times. A detective’s criminal complaint states that Gava-Hudson told police she planned to kill her child and then kill herself.
She is being charged with attempted murder.
