No charges filed in Stone County shooting
No criminal charges have been filed after a neighbor was shot in a dispute over the weekend.
According to Captain Ray Boggs with the Stone County Sheriff’s Department, the shooting happened around 8 p.m. Saturday on Diamond Radar Road. Captain Boggs tells News 25 two neighbors were arguing over kids riding four wheelers in the area when one of the neighbors fired his gun twice. One bullet hit the other neighbor and he was treated for non-life threatening injuries.
Captain Bogg says no criminal charges have been filed as the investigation continues.
