No Charges Filed in Last Night’s Fatal Gulfport Shooting

Gulfport Police Chief Leonard Papania says that no charges are filed in the shooting death of 37-year-old Phillip Kennedy.
Papania says that an argument escalated between the victim and the shooter over $20 worth of narcotics.
Papania says Kennedy was acting erratic and was shot and killed in self-defense.
Kennedy was out on bond on burglary charges.
