Next Week’s Wear it Wednesday Focuses on Emergency Survival Suits

Next week, “Wear It Wednesday” at the Infinity Space Center will bring some of the dangers on our planet to the surface.
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, or NOAA, will visit Infinity. Their work focuses on the condition of the oceans, climate, and atmosphere. This job takes them to some of the harshest places on Earth. Next Wednesday, NOAA officials will demonstrate how some of their emergency survival suits work, as well as allow kids of all ages to try on the same gear the pros use.
Lt. Josh Witmer, NOAA junior officer, said, “The immersion suit which we’re going to be displaying next week is a protective suit, especially for cold water environments in case of an emergency where you need to abandon the ship or the aircraft, this will not guarantee your survival but it will greatly increase your chances.”
Suited to the Extreme started Monday and will continue until July 11th, with a new “Wear It” demonstration each Wednesday.
