News 25 Game of the Week: Harrison Central vs. St. Martin

For the second week in a row, Harrison Central is home to our News 25 High School Football Game of the Week following its big week seven shut out over Biloxi.

This time around, the Red Rebels roll out the welcome mat for St. Martin who is coming off a commanding win against Hancock.

News 25’s Jeff Haeger is at Harrison Central with more.

Harrison Central Head Football Coach Casey Cain said, “Biloxi was a good football team and we played hard and we executed well and we caused some turnovers and we didn’t give up very many turnovers. The biggest thing is basically, we’re trying to get better every week and just try to win the next game.”

St. Martin Head Football Coach Eddie Wayne Whitehead said, “The last two quarters against Gulfport and really the first two quarters against Hancock were really good quarters. And I don’t know if we let off or what in the second half against Hancock, but it could have been better, have a couple turnovers that we need to clean up. But as far as us moving forward, we’ve been running the ball well, Mileon is doing a good job of leading the offense and defensively we’ve played pretty well every ball game.”

Harrison Central and St. Martin will kick off at 7 p.m. from Harrison Central.
