New subdivision coming to Biloxi

The City of Biloxi has seen a lot of growth in the past few months.

Biloxi City Councilman Kenny Glavan says that growth will continue with a new subdivision coming to the area. The new subdivision, the Peninsula, will be located right off Wetzel Drive and currently lots are being listed at $300,000.

The area is right on the edge of the water in the Biloxi Back Bay. Councilman Glavan tells News 25 he is excited to see a waterfront community come back to the city. “There has been talk about everybody is moving north of the interstate. I think the confidence is coming back. I think our building codes will allow people to build so that they are safer. When you have waterfront property coming back it really means a lot to a waterfront community like Biloxi.”
