The Mental Health Association of South Mississippi has a new partnership with Big Ridge Baptist Church in D’Iberville, bringing more mental health awareness to homeless and low-income families who need help.

The Pathway Resource Center at Big Ridge Baptist Church will continue their weekly Wednesday meetings January 6th from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

The Pathway Resource Center provides services for job interview prep, resume creation, or any service to help get you back on your feet.

The Mental Health Association of South Mississippi is offering services for mental health screenings, self-care, and stress relief.

The partnership hopes to serve the community both mentally and with resources to a better 2021. Mental Health Association of South Mississippi Executive Director Kay Daneault said, “Trying to help people to figure out where they are, what their goals are, what they might need certain assistance with. If they had a few minutes to talk to someone to kind of get things off their chest, we might not have a resolution for them, but they had that moment to connect with somebody and have someone that feels what they’re going through.”

Pathway Resource Center will also offer spiritual guidance and prayer.
