New Ramp on I-10 in D’Iberville Now Open

Good news for drivers in Harrison County, it will now be easier to access I-10, thanks to the Mississippi Department of Transportation (M.D.O.T.)

The new ramp in D’Iberville near the Promenade opened Wednesday. Motorists travelling eastbound on I-10 to I-110 southbound towards Biloxi will be able to use this new ramp, located about half a mile before the existing ramp. This means travelers will be able to exit onto I-110 about half a mile sooner than before. The ramp will be designated as Exit 46B on new interstate traffic signs.

Eric Jackson, M.D.O.T. Project Manager, says, "Today we opened a new exit ramp to I-110 southbound, which moved back about a half mile. The overall need is to alleviate traffic and open up room for more expansion and development in the D’Iberville area.”

M.D.O.T. also wants to remind the public to slow down while driving through construction zones and pay close attention to any shifts in traffic as they continue with construction.
