New Orleans Saints to set up draft war room at Dixie Brewing
The Coronavirus is obviously bringing this world to a crazy place, forcing those in the world of sports to do otherwise crazy things to make the normal stuff still seem somewhat normal.
According to reports, the Saints are planning to make their draft day selections out of Dixie Brewing with only a few people present.
Originally scheduled to be in Las Vegas, the 2020 NFL Draft will still take place from April 23rd through the 25th with teams directed to conduct all of their business off-site.
The local New Orleans brewery is owned by Saints owner Gayle Benson and reopened this past January after shutting its original doors in the wake of Hurricane Katrina.
Saints Head Coach Sean Payton was the first known NFL figure to test positive for COVID-19, but has made a full recovery in time for his team’s first selection at number 24 overall.
